No secondary sensors such as video cameras or microphones are required to detect if people are present. Airica developed a machine learning algorithms that can directly deduce room occupancy from indoor air quality sensor measurements. This guarantees full privacy. Our solution provides real-time measurements for every single room in your building. Occupancy detection is available for rooms of up to 70 square meters.

Easy integratable in HVAC systems
AIRICA is providing a GraphQL which enables an easy data transfer into any kind of heating ventilation air cooling system (HVAC) and controls the system (e.g. if a room has good air quality and it's not used the ventilation can be turned off). This allows to save between 20-40% of energy of the systems and reduces the CO2 emissions of the buildings.

AIRICA's managed service
AIRICA is a managed service for highest demands. Simplicity, reliability and user-friendliness were at the core of AIRICA's development. Battery-powered sensors transmit data to a pulsating feedback lamp which provides actionable insights about air quality to the employees in real-time. The data is simultaneously streamed to a dashboard which can be used to monitor indoor air quality over time.

The system is based on LoRa WAN technology which sends data over the cellular network. This allows for a quick and easy installation and eliminates the need for complicated integrations with Wi-Fi network systems.
