FMLR-61-STM

FMLR-61-STM are LoRa^® and LoRaWAN^® IoT modules built on Semtech's SX1261 chipset. They offer wireless connectivity to devices and sensors operating in the sub-GHz spectrum, spanning frequencies from 150 MHz to 960 MHz and supporting all major sub-GHz ISM bands worldwide. Offering an impressive 163 dB link budget, the modules support a constant RF output of +15 dBm and exhibit high sensitivity down to -148 dBm. Alongside LoRa modulation, G)FSK modulation for legacy use cases is supported.

Thanks to their low power consumption, the modules are ideal for applications utilizing small batteries. Applications can run on the integrated STM32L0 MCU, featuring a low-power 32-bit ARM Cortex^®-M0+ microcontroller with 192 kB flash and 20 kB RAM. For more demanding IoT applications, an STM32L4 MCU is also available, featuring a low-power 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 microcontroller with FPU, 512 kB flash, and 160 kB RAM. The STM32L4 variant offers sufficient RAM to support LoRaWAN firmware over-the-air (FUOTA) updates.

The modules adhere to the Miromico Standard Module Footprint (MSMF), ensuring strong investment protection. This feature allows for the creation of different variants with minimal to no need for adjustments to device hardware, production, test tools, and enclosure designs. It makes it easy to switch between different wireless technologies by just swapping the module, providing a secure long-term investment.
