A construction consulting company provides tailored energy-saving services by analyzing detailed energy data. To effectively capture and evaluate this data, they require a robust and reliable Energy Management System (EMS) compatible with various energy meters. The system must automatically and regularly capture data, presenting it to customers through intuitive dashboards, from which actionable energy-saving opportunities are identified. Our contribution to this solution includes the custom-developed M-Bus to LoRaWAN® converter. This converter allows existing meters to be digitized and integrated into the system, keeping investment costs low and maximizing benefits. Additionally, the system integrates photovoltaic (PV) systems into the data analysis. This automated solution facilitates real-time analysis and eliminates the need for manual meter readings, streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency.
